Video fiber optic links are used to carry video signals from a shielded camera radiated by an electromagnetic field to a monitor attended by the operator in the quiet area of a control room.
TESEO offers a broad range of products, all based on a high performance, wide band, low noise, fiber optic link in use worldwide in many laboratories. The main criteria for the selection of the camera are:
Thanks to the experience accumulated with the first two generations of shielded camera, all TESEO products are able to tolerate fields in excess of 200 V/m from 10KHz to 40GHz. The selection is therefore mainly concentrated on aspects like type of command and focal distance. It is important to stress that a remotely controlled camera requires a second (control) fiber and complexity and prices are much bigger than with a manual camera. Of course also easyness and flexibility of use are much better.
The basic products are:
IMAGE200
Very high quality of CCD and zoom for the best performing camera on the market. The receiver housing the remote control can be expanded to accommodate a voice link.
IMAGE200MC
Same as IMAGE200, but with smaller, short focal distance camera, suitable to applications where the space is limited like a GTEM or EUT fitted on board like an instrument in a cockpit or dashboard.
IMAGE200MA
Very low cost 200V/m manual camera with small size and short focal distance. Excellent compromise for low budgets.
Many options are available, like supply from battery packs, different color standards, other lenses. For non EMC applications optical transducers for video signals are also available.
