EUT monitoring and control systems are most often modular to accommodate different functions within a single unit. AFOM

The microprocessor based AFOM system is in use worldwide in military, space, automotive, EMC test centers where rather high electromagnetic fields are generated for immunity testing electronic devices. It consists of a 19" base unit housing the micro, the display with control switches, IEEE interface for remote operations and four slots for as many modules. Each plug-in module is associated with one or more shielded satellites to which it ties via fiber optic cables to form a channel implementing a specific function.
